Música do Circulo is a technique for fostering connection among people through body music and collective improvisation. Through various games and activities, participants explore their own musicality in a fun way, coming into harmony through melodies, rhythms, laughter, and physical contact.

The music we can make with our bodies and voices, play, improvisation, and movement are key elements of this Brazilian technique that aims to return music to every human being and, through it, bring us closer together. Because beating the same rhythm together, harmonizing our voices, looking each other in the eyes, and smiling when we feel the music’s vibration makes us part of a unique moment, in which we understand that the world could be very different if we simply… sang together as a means of socializing.

 

What we do in the workshops:

In the Música do Circulo workshops, participants will be guided by the facilitator to explore different improvisation games, rhythms, and melodies. In this way, improvised music emerges from the group and from each participant. Thus, the music that emerges is the result of collective co-creation, guided and facilitated in a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment.

 

Who is it for?

No prior musical experience is necessary for our workshops. We start from the premise that every human being possesses musicality, a desire to play, and a desire to share.
